Get Safari to improve your browsing speeds
Here at Cutpastecreate we use a lot of different web browsers in our site testing work flow, when we deliver a site to our customers we always ensure that the site will always look the same no matter what browser visitors use to interact with it. However when it comes to browsing the web ourselves, we always come back to the same browser, Safari.
Safari is a free download for Windows and Mac users. It provides one of the fastest platforms available for browsing the web. Many internet users are still using the copy of Internet Explorer that came with their computer, this can lead to slow website loading times, incorrectly displayed websites and worst of all frustrated users. The technology in Internet Explorer is nearly 5 years old, and in that time other browsers have advanced greatly in many areas, most noticeably in load times.
Safari uses modern browser technologies to allow the user to spend more time using the internet, and less time waiting for it. Modern sites make extensive use of javascript to enhance the appearance of pages, the more of these scripts that your browser has to run, the more work that it has to do. As the web has advanced, so to have the browser technologies used to display the web. Using the latest browsers ensures that you will always be viewing the web the way the designer intended.
To upgrade to safari today just visit Apple’s Download Safari page and select the correct version for your computer. The install process is self explainatory, and you will soon be wondering how you were ever browsing the internet without it.
